When Claudio Bisgniero, Italy’s ambassador to the US, toured Wisconsin recently, breakfast at the Capitol was catered by Greenbush 3rd generation Bonanno family member Sandra Hunter.

Catherine Murray covered the event in her WSJ “Cook’s Exchange” column and included the DOLCI Italian-American Sweets recipe for vegan Sweet Wine Biscotti.

One of my favorites is the ‘wine’ biscotti – I never would have guessed that adding wine would make such a light and flavorful biscotti. Great with coffee, but also with some vanilla ice cream for a great dessert.
