These are just a few words that describe our Italian cookies. At DOLCI we strive to offer a variety of different styles and ingredients. More than half of our selection has it’s own recipe. We ship all over the U.S. You can make your own selection or choose an assortment at the discretion of the baker. Our cookies are sold by weight; we take your order “by-the-pound”.
Because we offer such a vast selection of Italian cookies, everything is not available everyday. If you have something specific in mind and want to make sure we will have it when you want it, you need to place an order for the item. Ordering ahead guarantees that you will have your favorite DOLCI bakery sweet eats for your special occasion.
I’m Sandra Hunter and my passion for baking started at the age of nine when my Sicilian grandmother, Antonina Bonanno, taught me her way of baking authentic Italian cookies by touch, taste and smell – no recipes!
Today, I continue my grandmother’s authentic way of baking that she brought here from Sicily in 1905. When DOLCI opened in 2002, I sold two biscotti flavors Regina Queen Biscotti (Sesame Biscotti) and Almond Anise Biscotti. Both have become my #1 best sellers.
Since then, I’ve created many different biscotti flavors from my grandmother’s authentic basic biscotti dough. They are Wine Biscotti; Spiced Walnut Biscotti, Double Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Granola. In 2011, I’ve added delectable Italian Butter Cookies. They are Almond Wedding Cookies; Chocolate Spiced Cookies; Lemon, Cherry and Almond Iced Cookies; Jam Thumbprint Cookies.
You might have seen me at one of the farmers markets or taken a class from me via the Feed Kitchen. I’m still making the same sweet treats by request.

I’m semi-retired but still taking orders. Please expect 2 weeks from order placement to delivery.
